The wait of students is over now. As all the students of Matric and intermediate know that board exams are cancelled and the federal and provincial education ministers have proposed a new policy according to which all the regular and private students will be promoted to the next classes. This proposal was presented in a meeting headed by Shafqat Mehmood the federal minister of education in which all the board secretaries and ministers were present. The committee proposed to cancel the board exams and the students will be promoted to the next class on the basis of their category. They suggested the formula of promotion criteria of students based on their previous results. Whether you are a student of 9th or10th or you are a student of 11th and 12th, be tuned as we have given the formula of calculation of marks of all board classes.
HSSC –I and part II (11th and 12th) marks calculation formulae
11th class exams are cancelled and the students would be promoted t next year. The 11th class students will only appear in 12th class exams. In 12th class, the marks of 11th class will be calculated on the basis of HSSC-II marks. To calculate the 11th class marks obtained marks for 12th class would be doubled. The marks will be calculated with this simple formula (12th class marks X2).
The average marks of class 12th will be calculated on the basis of 11th class marks. To calculate these marks 11th class marks will add up to (marks obtained in 11h class/total marks) X10. 3% grace marks will also be added up using this formula (2Xobtained marks in P-1) + (obtained marks in p-1X 0.03).
9th and 10th class Result calculation
Like 11th class 9th, class board exams are also cancelled and the students would be promoted to the next class. Their marks will be doubled proportionally. The 9th class marks will be calculated with the following formula.
(2Xobtained marks in P-1) + (obtained marks in p-1X 0.03).
In simple words, the 9th class marks would be calculated with this simple formula.
(9th class marksX2) X 0.03.
The 10tth class marks will not be calculated as the papers of 10th class will be checked and the result will be prepared based on those marks. The total marks of such students will be calculated as (obtained marks in 9th class + obtained marks in 10th class).
