Comsats University is in news and its all for good reasons. In April, Comsats was upgraded into a university and is among top 1000 universities of the world. It is renowned for its IT and engineering departments. Now Comsats University is opening its campus in Peshawar. Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Information Technology Kamran Bangash has said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is taking major steps in improving quality of education in Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa. The students in KPK be attending best education by establishment of this campus. In a meeting, with delegations and Comsats Administrartin Bangash said “it was a top priority of the government to give a best educational system to youth so that they could compete with international students”. Comsats is regarded among Pakistan’s best university according to HEC too. Comsats has several campuses in many cities including Islamabad, Abbottabad, Attock, Vehari, Lahore, Wah, Sahiwal and now in Peshawar. Comsats was established in 1998, aiming to develop field of science and technology in Pakistan. Its participation in research and academic development in the fields of IT and computer sciences has been thoroughly commendable. Comsats remarkable academic facility is accessible to students through its eight campuses present in all major cities of Pakistan. Comsats main campus is in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. International students are showing keen interest in getting admission in Comsats University. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary & Secondary Education Department (ESED) is taking huge steps n making reformation in educational system. The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is revising books, establishing new universities and adding new books in syllabus. So far KPK government had made 450 new schools. The new educational system in KPK is getting very positive reviews from the public of KPK. The number of admissions in schools has also increased under the government of Pakistan Tehreek- E –Insaaf. This improvement in education system has made many students leaving private institutes and admitting in to government institutes. ESED has made almost 10,000 additional classrooms, more than 14,400 boundary walls, more than 17,350 Group Latrines in schools. The KPK board has made commendable steps in educational reformation.
